Connection
A network of women from commercial, military and sport aviation in one place. Pilots, air traffic controllers, engineers, mechanics, meteorologists, cabin crew and researchers.
Founded 2026 in Belgrade
We bring together pilots, air traffic controllers, engineers, mechanics, meteorologists and every other professional who keeps aviation flying. We connect, we educate, and we open doors for those still on their way.
Who we are
The Center for Women in Aviation of Serbia is a non-governmental, non-profit association founded for an indefinite term. It brings together women from every profession connected to aviation, across commercial, military and sport flying.
Aviation is a field where knowledge passes from one generation to the next, and where a network of contacts often decides who gets the opportunity. That is why we exist: so that network is open to those who never had access to it.
What we do
A network of women from commercial, military and sport aviation in one place. Pilots, air traffic controllers, engineers, mechanics, meteorologists, cabin crew and researchers.
Lectures, conferences, courses and a mentorship programme. Information on open calls, training and study opportunities gathered in one place, instead of scattered hints.
We collect, preserve and tell the story of Serbian aviation. Ceremonies, memorials and commemorations of the dates, events and people who built it.
Safety culture and green technology as permanent themes of our work, through training, knowledge exchange and cooperation with the responsible institutions.
Programs
Our activities follow the full arc of a career in aviation, starting from the moment someone first considers that it is possible.
Connecting newcomers with experienced professionals who have walked the same path.
Professional gatherings, seminars, conferences and consultations across aviation.
Organised visits to airports, flight schools and aviation institutions.
Information on opportunities for education, certification and professional development.
Working with young people and schools to popularise aviation professions.
Building ties with related organisations and institutions abroad.

Heritage
Serbia was among the first countries in the world to form a military air arm. Part of that history was written by women, and many of those names never made it into the textbooks. We collect historical material, mark anniversaries and bring those names back into public conversation.
