Programs

From the first question to the first licence

Our programmes follow the full arc of a career in aviation, from the moment someone first considers that it is possible, to the moment she becomes a mentor herself.

Programmes are being prepared

The association was founded in August 2026. The programmes described on this page are the framework of work set out in the Statute. Dates for specific training sessions, visits and conferences will be published on the News and events page.

01

Mentorship programme

Being paired with someone who has walked the same path.

Mentorship connects girls and women entering aviation professions with experienced professionals from the same or a related field. The aim is not only technical advice, but answers to the questions no handbook covers: what a roster really looks like, how to plan your training, what to expect at an interview.

For secondary school students, university students and career changers.

02

Training, workshops and conferences

Professional gatherings, seminars and consultations.

We organise professional gatherings, seminars, conferences, consultations and workshops in aviation. Topics follow what the profession actually needs: regulation and licensing, human factors, safety culture, new technologies and sustainability. Part of the programme is open to the public, part is reserved for members.

For members and the professional community.

03

Visits and practice

Aviation is best understood from the inside.

We organise visits to airports, air traffic control, flight schools, aviation institutions, museums and industrial operators. For many, a first visit to a control tower or a hangar is the moment an abstract idea about a career turns into a concrete plan.

For schools, student groups and members.

04

Open calls, scholarships and training

Every opportunity in one place.

We track and publish open calls, scholarships, training programmes and opportunities for certification and professional development at home and abroad. Information that arrives in time is often the only difference between an opportunity missed and one taken.

For everyone, members or not.

05

Career promotion

Working with young people and schools.

School lectures, public events, exhibitions and promotional activities dedicated to popularising aviation professions. We work so that a girl who loves physics and aircraft knows there is a path from that interest to a profession, and that the path is not reserved for someone else.

For primary and secondary schools and the wider public.

06

Safety and sustainability

Two subjects that never go out of date.

Safety culture and environmental sustainability are permanent themes of our work. Through training, knowledge exchange and cooperation with the competent institutions, we work on raising safety awareness and on promoting green technologies, energy efficiency and the reduction of aviation impact on climate change.

For the profession, institutions and the public.

07

The heritage of Serbian aviation

Collecting and preserving historical material.

We collect, process and promote historical material on the development of Serbian aviation, with particular attention to the contribution of women. We organise ceremonies, memorials and observances of significant dates, events and figures.

For researchers, families and the public.

08

International cooperation

Serbian aviation is not an island.

We build contacts and cooperate with associations, organisations and institutions at home and abroad. The association may join international associations, a decision taken by the Assembly.

For partner organisations and institutions.
