We are collecting photographs, documents and testimony about the women who built Serbian aviation.
One of the goals of the association, set out in the Statute, is to collect, process, preserve and promote historical material on the development of Serbian aviation.
Much of that material does not sit in archives but in family albums: photographs taken at airfields, pilot logbooks, diplomas, newspaper clippings, letters. Without them, the names of many women who worked in aviation simply disappear.
What we are looking for
- Photographs of women in aviation uniform, at airfields, in hangars and in cockpits
- Documents: licences, certificates, diplomas, employment records
- Newspaper clippings and publications
- Written or spoken testimony from family members
How to get in touch
Write to the association and describe briefly what you have. There is no need to scan anything in advance, a phone photograph is enough.
Material is processed only with the consent of its owner. The provenance of every item is clearly stated, and the originals stay with you.
